Welcome to munchlog.ai ("we", "us", "our"). We are a voice-first food accountability and nutrition awareness app available at https://www.munchlog.ai.

• Account and authentication data such as your name, email, and profile image when you sign in.
• Subscription and payment status processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Meal data such as text check-ins, AI-generated nutrition estimates, goals, targets, and related notes.
• Voice and transcription data when you record audio for transcription and food interpretation.
• Device, usage, diagnostic, cookie, and local storage data used for reliability, security, preferences, and analytics.

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process data to provide the service you requested, with your consent for optional features where required, for legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, and to meet legal obligations such as accounting or tax requirements.

• Provide core features such as sign-in, voice transcription, food recognition, meal history, and nutrition summaries.
• Personalize your experience with goals, history, tips, reminders, and useful reflections.
• Send service emails, receipts, support replies, and important product notices.
• Improve reliability, safety, performance, debugging, and anti-abuse protections.

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with vendors only as needed to operate Munchlog.

• Authentication providers such as Google OAuth and NextAuth.
• Payment providers such as LemonSqueezy.
• Infrastructure providers such as Vercel and MongoDB Atlas.
• Transcription and AI providers such as OpenAI for processing meal text, audio, and reflections.
• Email, support, and analytics providers used for product operations.

Voice recording is used to convert speech to text and help identify food items for nutrition estimates. We store the resulting text, estimates, and reflections in your account. Raw audio is kept only as long as needed to process the request unless we explicitly say otherwise in the app.

We do not use your meal content to train our own public models. Third-party AI providers may temporarily retain logs to operate and secure their services according to their own policies.

• Account and meal logs are kept while your account is active and until you delete them or your account.
• Billing records are retained as required by law.
• Support emails may be retained for troubleshooting and legal compliance.
• Audio is not retained beyond processing unless we explicitly say otherwise in the app.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, export, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent for optional features. To make a request, email divyanthj@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

We use safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, reputable infrastructure providers, and routine monitoring. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your information. Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live, with appropriate safeguards from our providers.

munchlog.ai is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 where applicable. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can delete it.
